Passion

Sometimes I have to reign myself in when I get excited about all the possibilities for creativity on any particular day.  There are not enough hours to get it all in; but I am often trying to complete the concept design for a kitchen project, give guidance for a photo-shoot at my office, visit a local art gallery, source a few key accessories for a client, take dance class, and break bread with my family all before the sun sets.  Are we there yet?

These days I am also woodshedding in between the normal grind; sketching ideas for new textile patterns–and really being inspired by wood carvings and tribal masks.  Excited about the collection that is emerging from this exploration.    Will let you know how it all comes together…

My creativity flourishes when I am working in a serene environment. That is why I designed a backyard full of bamboo trees. They really have a calming aura about them

Welcome to my creative (and sometimes stagnant) mind.

Warning:  I’m new to the cyber stage, so we may go on tangents along the way–I apologize in advance–but lets take a ride!
